Helsinki, Finland – October 23, 2024: F-Secure, a global leader in consumer cyber security and scam protection, is delighted to have won best use case of AI for customer experience for its leading AI-based SMS Protection at Finland’s AI Gala. The feature makes up part of F‑Secure’s recently launched scam protection capabilities. The award celebrates an innovation that has significantly improved the customer experience with the help of artificial intelligence.  

According to F‑Secure research, 85% of consumers faced digital scam attempts in 2023, and 70% admit they don’t know who to trust online, while SMS is a key channel that scammers utilize. F‑Secure SMS Protection feature provides a seamless user experience where malicious SMS messages are automatically filtered to the junk folder on smartphones. More sustainable than large language models due to its energy efficiency, and supporting over 75 languages, F‑Secure’s SMS protection uses AI to shield consumers from an emerging and critical threat. F‑Secure also offers a free text message checker tool, where you can check if a text message is a scam.

The goal of the event is to inspire and encourage Finnish companies to utilize the possibilities of artificial intelligence and the funding opportunities of Business Finland and AI Finland.
